Banks DIH to accommodate visitors for CWC

Banks DIH has indicated its intentions to be part of the attractions for Cricket World Cup 2007. The company would be an active entity in the accommodations of visitors for the imminent Cricket World Cup (CWC), joining in the Bed and Breakfast Programme and Caribbean cuisine catered for by Guyana 's Local Organising Committee (LOC) and the magnificent luxury hotels being constructed.
At the company's recently concluded Annual General Meeting, Managing Director Clifford Reis stated that the company will be working in collaboration with fashion designer Donna Ramsammy-James, and the entity will be hosting food festivals, dinners, fashion shows and drama presentations as part of its planned agenda for CWC 2007.
Reis said that all the Banks DIH related restaurants will offer special breakfast features which will also comprise the likes of local ‘one man bands' to offer an even more tropical and relaxed atmosphere.
Banks is also the authorised franchise holder for the distribution of alcoholic beverages at the Stadium which will see a prominent presence of Guinness to ensure that it is afforded the attention it deserves.
