The Rotaract Club of Georgetown Central, which claims to hold the distinction of throwing a party as well as any old head, hosts its third annual 'Ol' Skool' fete at the New Courtyard, Main Street, tonight.

According to a press release from the club, the 'Ol' Skool' party started as an experiment with the theme party genre and it has been a successful venture ever since.

This is the third consecutive year that the Ol' Skool party will be held at the same venue and it is sponsored by Carib and Giftland Office Max.

'Ol' Skool' is the signature event on the 15-year-old club's calendar and as its main fund-raising venture all proceeds will go to the club's community service projects.

The Rotaract Club of George-town Central has funded the Vocational Training Programme for the children at the Drop-in Centre, Joshua House and the Mahaica Children's Home. The project has seen children being educated in the areas of electronics, electrical installation and sewing, the release said.
